The business was established by its present managing Director, Jim Nicolson back in 1985. At that stage it had just one employee and operated from a small Smiddy in Bower, Caithness.

As the business expanded and prospered, the financial returns were swiftly reinvested to provide a modern well equipped facility encompassing fabrication workshops, machine workshop and stainless steel workshops. Subsequently, the facilities and accommodation at the premises have been further expanded to represent the strategic aim of the company .

The company now employs a committed and flexible workforce and provides a general engineering service to the Oil Industry, Nuclear Industry, Local Government Departments as well as a service to the local business community.
Many specialist contracts have been won in these fields and this is testimony to our commitment to a first class quality assurance system. We have attained a Quality Management Certification to BSEN, ISO 9001,2000
